Abstract:

Research on county land utilization, analyzing the status and the existing main problems of county land utilization in a quantitative way, will be helpful to make land use more reasonable and sustainable. Taking Fengdu County of Chongqing as an example and using the entropy model and grey correlation analysis, the author analyzed land use structure and studied the relations of land use structure entropy with socio-economic development in the county. The results showed that, disorder of land use structure of Fengdu County presented S curve growth situation in the past 12 years. Land use system tended to disorder, and the types of land utilization tended to be equilibrium. It was concluded that population pressure and adjustment of industrial structure had a profound influence on the land use system of the region. Social fixed assets investment and government behavior would become the new force, and the development of the tourism industry would be a potential force for inducing the entropy changes of and use structure.
