Continuous High Temperature: the Climatic Characteristics and Its Impact on Agriculture in East of Hexi Corridor in Summer of 2010

摘要: 为了研究河西走廊东部高温天气的气候特征及预报着眼点,提高高温预报准确率,减轻对农业生产的影响,笔者运用天气统计学方法, 对河西走廊东部2010年7月17—30日出现的高温天气从气候特征、环流形势和物理量场以及对农业的影响等方面进行了分析,并提出了预警预报指标。结果表明:2010年7月高温强度和持续日数均创历史极值;长时间晴热少雨、大陆暖高压异常强大且持续稳定是造成此次持续高温过程的主要原因;持续高温造成土壤墒情大幅度的下降、河流量倍增、多种农作物产量大受影响。

Abstract: The paper aims to study the climatic characteristics and vantage point of forecast of the high temperature weather in East Hexi Corridor so as to improve the accuracy of high temperature forecast and to reduce the impact on agricultural production, high temperature of the East Hexi Corridor from July 17 to 30, 2010 was analyzed by means of synoptic and statistical method from the aspects of climatic characteristics, circulation patterns, physical quantities and its impact on agriculture, an early warning index of forecast was put forward. The results showed that the strength of high temperature and the days of duration were historical extremes in July 2010; Long duration of hot and dry weather as well as the strong and continuous stability of the continental warm high pressure was the main reasons for the continuous high temperature process. Sustained high temperature caused a significant decline in soil moisture, doubled the river flow, and greatly affected a variety of crop production.
