Abstract:

Since 1990s, the rural area of multi-national region has entered a new period of frequently-occuring contradictions for it is a period of various interests’s disintegration and adjustment, for there is an unbalance of distribution and adjustment for various interests, and for the need of material interest among nationalities contradicts with the national cultural differences. National cultural difference has become the root of inducing other intensifying contradictions especially in the multi-national region. This paper probes into the feasibility of research on the new rural area’s political and idealogical work from the perspective of cultural tolerance theoretically on the basis of the current situation of rural cultural differences and the unsubstitution of the new rural area’s political and idealogical work for its role in coping with various contraditions and expounds the new thinking of the new rural area’s political and idealogical work in multi-national region from the four aspects namely rationally treating the cultural difference among folk tribes, reasonably looking on the farmers’ benefit demand, guiding the folk beliefs in the national area and treating the local impact of the rural folk law with cultural tolerance. The research on the new rural area’s political and idealogical work from the perspective of cultural tolerance can broaden the researching scope of the current rural area’s political and idealogical work.
