Abstract: This paper introduced the development history of water-saving technique in Fujian mountainous orchard, and discussed the current situation of the water-saving technology in the mountainous orchard from canal seepage control technology, low press conduit pipe, drip irrigation，micro-irrigation, subsurface drip irrigation，cover moisture preserving, drought resistant varieties and chemical control。The paper point out the water-saving technology in the orchard develops very fast, but there are a lot of unfavorable factors such as irrigation projects are not perfected, management and investment level were low. In this paper，the authors propose optimization for combination of water conservancy measure and agronomy measure, combination of water-saving Engineering and agricultural technique and research of orchard water demand rule and irrigating system were necessary to the development of high-efficient water-saving technology system.
