Abstract: Sustainable development has been used for studies and applications on society, economy, science and education, et al. With the decreasing of soil and the increasing of population, it is the best way to solve foodstuff problem depending on breeding to develop crops yield and quality. In this paper, we gave a brief statement about the urgency of developing yield, the status of breeding in agriculture, and the methods for sustainable breeding.
