Abstract: Based on investigation about situation confronting farmers who have lost their farm land due to land requisition in outskirts of Shangqiu city, four major problems afflicting the farmers are summarized such as unemployment, low economical compensation, no living security and less cares from the local authorities. Accordingly, four solutions have been suggested after taking into consideration both the recommendations from relevant experts and the empirical solutions being tried successfully elsewhere.
