Abstract: On the basis of Fujian current innovation of the agricultural science and technology in the Period of the ‘11th Five-year General Plan’, the thesis, from the macroscopic perspective, proposes the main task and goal of the development of Fujian agricultural science and technology in the 11th Five-year Period. It sets forth seven ways to boost the innovation of the agricultural science and technology, including planning scientifically, promoting ‘Five News’ (i.e., New Varieties, New Technology, New Pesticides, New Fertilizers and New Farm Implements), encouraging scientific and technical achievements to be put into production, popularizing various agro-technology, training new farmers, treasuring persons who are working in rural areas for agro-technical popularization, and innovating construction policies of the new countryside.
