Abstract: Public facilities design and construction in the new school of Shandong Agricultural University were used as the materials in the study. Some problems, existing in the construction of public facilities in the college, were found by Summarizing the previous research results and practical experience. The construction ideas under the new era background of public facilities were put forward and some specific design principles were pointed out via combining with a specific university cultural history and Refining college culture. In order to let the public facilities provide better services for university teachers and students, and cultivate students place identity and sense of belonging, we made a deep thinking through people-oriented, well-designed, heart-construction and reserve -development, We wish what we have discussed could have certain reference significance.
