Abstract: With 11 Pepper varieties and 14 incomplete dialed crosses taken as experiment materials, the heterosis of pepper was analyzed on 13 characters. The results showed that heterosis in pepper were quite extensive and apparent. There were great differences of dominance among characters, and Level of heterosis were also different in different crosses; Heterosis of agronomic traits was strong but that of quality characters was not obvious, At the same time, heterosis of characters with strong dominance had a large range of variability among crosses, while heterosis of characters with no dominance had a little differences.
