In order to study the potassium nutrition characters of rice offspring introduced into Phytolaoca esculenta DNA by pollen tube pathway technique, 3 plants with obvious variations of them as well as their recipient were cultured in nutrient solution. Two levels of potassium supply ( K1:1mg/L, K2:40mg/L ) were set up. Among of them, D3-22’s fresh weight , relative dry weight of shoots ,dry root weigh and K absorption of plant were higher than those of its recipient and the difference of potassium utilization efficiency between them was remarkably. Those might mean that D3-22’s low potassium tolerance was improved.
