Abstract: The relations between soil factors and polysaccharide and total sugar of Lycium barbarum was discussed. The results showed that the correlation coefficient between total sugar in different regions was significant ,the total sugar content in old producing area- Huinong was more than that in Yuanlinchang. Total sugar of Lycium barbarum presented negative correlation to Available nitrogen. The correlation coefficient between polysaccharide and soil factors was not significant, but it presented correlation against efficient Na+, Cl-. The correlation coefficient between total sugar and Na+, Cl- was not significant, but Ca2+, SO42-. Polysaccharide and total sugar of Lycium barbarum content in the fruit of Lycium barbarum L in Ningxia invariably presented positive correlation to the salt content of the earth, in which it showed markable.
