Abstract: 【OBJECTIVE】The new high yield variety of summer maize LD9006 was used to study the applying effect of different fertilization strategies on yield, grain quality of summer maize and topsoil properties.【METHOD】Farm experiment combined with lab experiment were applied to analyze the applying effect of different fertilization strategies on summer maize.【RESULTS】Comparing with applying common fertilizer, the effect of applying coated fertilizer was observably better on increasing yield, nitrogen-used efficiency and produce benefit, and which improve partially grain quality of summer maize and topsoil properties, especially controlled-release fertilizer(CRF); The analyzing about produce benefit of different fertilization strategies on summer maize showed that applying CRF was more effectual than applying common fertilizer. 2/3 amount CRF was observably better than full amount on produce benefit, applying fertilizer one time was observably better than applying fertilizer two times, 【CONCLUSION】The effect of applying coated fertilizer was observably better than applying common fertilizer, especially CRF. At the same time of increasing yield of summer maize, reducing the fertilizer cost was the effective measure to increase produce benefit of summer maize.
