Abstract: Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge is China own wood oil plant, and it has great economical, environment benefit and synthesis value in use．But the development of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge has enormously affected by the low fruit set rate and unstable yield．This article described the flowering，fruit set habit and analyzed the rules and causes of flower and fruit dropping. This article put forward some techniques and methods to improve flower and fruit set rate, such as management of fruit trees，nutrient and water regimes and chemical technology，etc．In order to provide theory base of improve fruit set rate in Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge production.
