Abstract: First creation hybrid maize is American, which is number one country in maize production, economy power, advantage technology, maize plant acreage under cultivation, total production and maize export in the world. The statistics in 1980s indicated that American maize acreage under cultivation is 28.215 million hectares, which accounts for 20 percent of that of the world. Total maize production of American is 22 230.8 thousand tons, which account for 36.7 percent of that of the world. Maize unit yield of American is 7240 kg per hectare, which is more than 1 time of that of the world. It summarized American maize production, including maize plant by division into districts, maize production specialization, utilization of maize heterosis and corn comprehensive control technology of the diseases, insects and harmful weed.
