外引杂交种对R2228、R5518自交系植株性状改良潜势分析

Potential Improvement of Inbred Line R2228/R5518 for Plant Traits Using 2/3 Introduced Hybrids in Maize

摘要: 为了明确外引杂交种对改良自育自交系的潜在利用价值,利用自育优良玉米自交系R2228、R5518分别与6个外引杂交种杂交,得到12个F2群体。通过分析各群体株型性状的表现和分离情况,并分别与亲本自交系R2228、R5518以及2个大面积推广杂交种的母本自交系‘郑58’、PH6WC进行了比较。结果表明:各F2群体13个性状的平均值存在较大差异,且均存在较大分离,变异系数为7.97%~ 64%。综合各群体植株性状的表现,各群体均适合R2228/R5518的改良,其中预测P523和P520分别对R2228和R5518的整体株型改良为更加理想,是进一步从中选育均有优良植株性状自交系的重点基础群体。

Abstract: To improve the plant traits of the maize inbred lines R2228/R5518, the performance and segregation characteristics of 13 plant traits for 2/3 F2 populations chosen from its crosses with 21 introduced hybrids were analyzed, and compared with R2228, R5518 and the maternal inbreds‘Zheng58’, and PH6WC for 2 broad utilized famous hybrids in this study. The results showed that great differences and broad segregations existed among the F2 populations for all traits, with variation coefficients 7.97%- 64.00% . Comprehensively considering the performance of all plant traits, P523/P520 were chosen as the major populations to improve inbred R2228/R5518 and develop new inbred lines with elite plant traits in further research.
