Effects of Maize and Pepper Intercropping on the Photosynthetic Characteristics, Biomass and Yield of Maize and Pepper

摘要: 通过大田试验,研究玉米和辣椒间作对玉米、辣椒的光合指标、生物量和产量的影响。结果表明:在间作方式下,玉米、辣椒的净光合速率、蒸腾速率、气孔导度、胞间CO2浓度、水分利用效率及气孔限制值均表现为较单作不同程度的增大趋势;玉米/辣椒间作条件下,玉米和辣椒的生物量和产量显著高于单作。因此,间作方式改善了玉米、辣椒的光合作用条件,提高了玉米和辣椒的生物量或产量。

Abstract: Field experiments were conducted to study effects of maize and pepper intercropping on photosynthetic indexes, biomass and yield of maize and pepper. The results showed that: net photosynthetic rate, transpiration rate, stomatal conductance, intercellular CO2 concentration, water use efficiency, stomatal limitation value of maize and pepper intercropping system increased comparing with monoculture system. The biomass and yield of maize and pepper intercropping system were significantly higher than that of monoculture system. Therefore, intercropping system could improve the photosynthesis of maize and pepper. The biomass and yield of maize and pepper are also improved.
