Progress on Characteristics of Seed Dormancy of wild herbaceous flowers

摘要: 旨在探讨有效的野生草本花卉种子繁殖技术,为今后野生草本花卉的引种繁育技术研究提供参考依据。对影响野生草本花卉种子萌发的内因、环境因子、促进发芽的技术进行综述。说明了影响野生草本花卉种子萌发的内因主要包括生理后熟、种皮的机械阻碍、萌发抑制物等,环境因子主要包括温度、光照和水分的影响。促进种子萌发的主要方法有机械破皮、酸侵蚀、水浸种、层积、赤霉素处理以及多种方法联合处理等。从生产角度来看,最实用的促进种子萌发的方法为机械破皮、水浸种、层积、赤霉素处理等。

Abstract: In order to provide scientific basis for seed propagation techniques of wild herbaceous flowers, the internal and environmental factors of wild herbaceous flowers’seed germination were summarized. The internal causes included after-ripening, the mechanical obstruction from seed coat, germination inhibitor and so on. Environmental factors mainly included the effects of temperature, light and water. The paper introduced main methods to promote seed germination of wild herbaceous flowers, which included mechanical treatment for seed coat, acid, seed soaking with water, stratification, gibberellins or combined treatments of the above factors. Besides treatment with acid, other methods probably were regarded as the more practicable ways to promote seed germination for commercial production.
