香山公园常见地被植物生长特性及根系研究

Growth and Development Characteristics of Shoot and Root for Ground Cover Plants in Fragrant Hills Park

摘要:

在古树下种植乡土地被植物,既可保护古树下土地免受践踏,又有利于改善土壤的透气和保水能力。但栽植前需掌握地被植物的根系生长特性,评估其对古树根系的影响。利用Epson数字扫描仪,配合直接测定法,对香山公园内4种常见地被植物(多花胡枝子、菊花脑、青绿薹草和求米草)在古树油松、古树白皮松及苗圃3种立地条件下的根系及地上部生长情况进行分析。苗圃条件下的相同年份多花胡枝子植株,根系及地上部发育均显著优于白皮松及油松下植株;菊花脑在3种立地条件下均表现良好,根系及地上部发育未表现出显著差异;在相同立地条件下的求米草根系及地上部发育显著优于菊花脑和青绿薹草,且不同立地条件下的求米草地上部分和根系发育差异较小。研究结果显示,菊花脑和求米草在不同立地条件下均表现良好,且不易对古树根系产生影响,适宜在古树下栽植;多花胡枝子适宜在立地环境较陡的古树下栽植;青绿薹草不适于作为古树林下地被使用。

Abstract:

Ground cover plants under ancient trees could protect the land from trampling and improve the permeability and water retention of soil, but the growth characteristics of root should be assessed before planting. Growth and development characteristics of shoot and root for four ground cover plants (Lespedeza floribunda, Chrysanthemum nankingense, Carex leucochlora and Oplismenus undulatifolius) under the ancient Pinus tabuliformis and P. bungeana or in the open field of Fragrant Hills Park were analyzed by Epson digital scanner and direct measurement. Significant difference was showed in the development of shoot and root of same aged L. floribunda from different habitats. The root and aerial parts from plants in the open area grew much batter than those under the ancient P. tabuliformis and P. bungeana. Chrysanthemum nankingense grew well in all three conditions, and no significant difference exhibited in the development of root and aerial parts between plants growing in different area. The development of shoot and root of O. undulatifolius was significantly superior to Chrysanthemum nankingense and Carex leucochlora grew in the same condition, and lower difference was showed in the plants of O. undulatifolius from different habitats. The results indicated that Chrysanthemum nankingense and O. undulatifolius grew well in all conditions and showed suitability for planting under ancient trees. L. floribunda was suitable for planting under ancient trees with steep site environment. Carex leucochlora was not suitable for planting as a ground cover plant under ancient trees.
