Abstract: The current situation of conservation and sustainable utilization of resources of agricultural species in Tibet were analyzed in the study, the basic routes and focal points of conservation and sustainable utilization of resources of agricultural species were expatiated. Results showed that: Resources of agricultural species in Tibet have their own advantages and distinguishing features, as well as the current network for breeding and popularizing of agricultural species are in the good status of construction, while the disadvantages and some problems, such as degenerating and mixture of species, weakness of infrastructure et. al., also existed. The next important target is to establish a new network for breeding and popularizing of agricultural species with Tibet’ characteristics, the main contents of construction were to improve the sub-system of breeding and popularizing especially for agricultural species of crops, livestock & poultry, and aquatics. In the end, the main countermeasures to advance the sustainable utilization of agricultural species in Tibet, including enhancing leadership, increasing investment, supporting enterprise of managing seed, strengthening management et. al., were put forward.
