植物pgip基因特性及表达调控研究进展

摘要: 多聚半乳糖醛酸酶抑制蛋白(PGIP)基因已成为植物抗真菌基因工程的研究热点之一,国内外已先后从25个属45种植物中克隆到了pgip基因或片段。截止于2008年3月1日,美国国立生物技术信息中心(The National Center for Biotechnology Information,NCBI)GenBank中登记的pgip序列多达239条。本文从PGIPs的早期研究、自身特点以及表达调控方面综述了这种热点基因的研究进展,为更好的利用这一基因资源提供参考。

Abstract: At present, Polygalacturonase-inhibiting protein (PGIP) gene has become one of the hottest research spots of plant anti-fungal genetic engineering. To March 1, 2008, 239 nucleotide sequences marked with ‘pgip’ were registered in GenBank of NCBI. We review the properties, molecular aspects of their expression and regulation and their possible application to the development of disease-resistant breeding.
