Abstract: Study on grain quality character of double-cropping super rice in South-China, based on 7 criteria of the national standard, was conducted in the experiment field of Rice Research Institute, Guangdong Academy of Agricultural Sciences at 2001 late crop and 2002 early crop. The results showed that, 1) grain qualities of seven South-China 2-crop super rice were better than that of excellent commercial rice varieties in the same district, its boiling qualities increased highly. 2). Variance analysis showed very significant difference in head milled rice and chalkiness between early crop and late crop, while significant difference in chalky rice and rice shape.
