Abstract: Jidan 618 is developed by Maize Research Institute; Jilin Provincial Academy of Agricultural Sciences , belong to middle and late single cross hybrid, in January 2008 by the Committee of Jilin Province Maize Cultivar examine and approve. The variety has the characteristics of compact plant type, canopy structure reasonable, from 2005 to 2007 in Jilin Province preparation, regional and production tests, The varieties with high starch, high yield, stable yield, high-quality, multi-resistant and wide adaptability, and other characteristics, average yield in more than 10400 kg/hm2 , hybrid grow period for 128 days, need≥10℃ to accumulate 2720 ℃, it was adjust to planted in Northeast China for spring corn area.
