Abstract: The ornamental plant of milkweed family was liken by people with its unusual of flower,its elegant of vine. By searching and looking up ample information and books associated with plant taxonomy, the author summarizes species, morphological features, ecological habits and main application of ornamental plants from Asclepiadaceae, and chiefly introduces its ornamental characteristics in garden application, medical and economic value with a view to providing a reference for its development. With excellent leaves and flowers, plant in Asclepiadaceae is a good material for suspension and vertical greening.
