Abstract: With the deepening research of greenway planning and the developing of the Greenway Network of Pearl River Delta practice, greenway tourism as a new form of tourism greatly promote the development of tourism. Greenway tourism will become a new opportunity of urban tourism development. The paper analyzed the similarities and differences between the greenway planning and the urban tourism planning and summarized the significance. Then researched the greenway tourism planning of Xun Shan, and discussed how to combine“greenway”concept in the urban tourism planning to create landscape continuous urban tourism environment, to promote the development of the urban tourism and to provide guidance and reference for the greenway tourism planning.
