Preservation Effects of Spermidine and Spermine on Postharvest Cherry ‘Crystal’

摘要:

为探讨多胺在樱桃贮藏保鲜效果上的作用,以‘水晶’樱桃为试材,探讨了采后樱桃外源喷洒亚精胺(Spd)和精胺(Spm)对果梗、果皮和果肉各部位品质特性及抗氧化特性的影响。结果表明:(1)外源Spd可有效降低樱桃果梗中叶绿素含量的下降幅度,维持了其新鲜指数。(2)外源Spd和Spm均能显著降低樱桃果皮中的超氧阴离子(O2·-)产生速率和过氧化氢(H2O2)含量,从而缓解果皮部位质膜的过氧化程度。(3)外源Spd和Spm显著提高了樱桃果肉中超氧化物歧化酶(SOD)活性,增加了抗坏血酸(ASA)与谷胱甘肽(GSH)的含量,提高了抗氧化能力。(4)外源Spd和Spm有效控制了樱桃果肉的失重率和腐烂程度,延长了贮藏时间。由此可知,施加外源多胺(Spd和Spm)能够有效地提高樱桃的抗氧化性及保鲜效果,该研究结果可为多胺在保持樱桃采后品质和贮藏保鲜方面的应用提供重要理论支撑。

Abstract:

In order to study the application of polyamines for cherry preservation during storage, the effects of spermidine (Spd) and spermine (Spm) on the quality characteristics and antioxidant properties of peduncle, peel and sarcocarp were investigated by using cherry ‘Crystal’ as the test material. The results showed that: (1) exogenous Spd could effectively delay the decrease of chlorophyll content and maintain its freshness index of peduncle. (2) Both exogenous Spd and Spm reduced the rate of superoxide anion (O2·-) and the content of hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), thus alleviating the peroxidation degree of plasma membrane. (3) Exogenous Spd and Spm substantially enhanced superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity, ascorbic acid (ASA) and glutathione (GSH) contents, and improved the antioxidant capacity of sarcocarp. (4) The storage time of cherry preservation was extended, and the weight loss rate and the degree of decay were also effectively retarded after Spd and Spm spraying. In conclusion, exogenous polyamines (Spd and Spm) can effectively improve the antioxidant and storage properties of cherries. The study can provide important theoretical support for the application of polyamines in the maintenance of postharvest quality and fresh-keeping.
