Abstract: This study investigates the several chemical indices of urban green space soil in Bengbu,including soil organic matter, NH4+-N, available P, pH, total salt content. The soil chemical indices which come from different greenbelts types present the heterogeneity through analysing the variation coefficient.The correlation analysis of soil chemical indices indicates that there is nonsignificant correlation among these soil chemical indices except pH and total salt content.The conclusion is brought forward that the uban green space soil nutrients have spacial variability even if it is a small range in city. The reason maybe comes from the soil original background and jamming intensity.
