Abstract: Abstract: The rural science and technology service system was an important pillar to agricultural science and technology progress. It was the basic guarantee for the realization of agricultural industrialization and modernization. Therefore, it was an important element to the agricultural modernization construction. At the basis of literature review and field survey, this paper took a qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis to study external factors and internal factors on agricultural science and technology services. The results showed that China’s current agricultural science and technology service system was clearly not suited for the rapid development of market economy, the current main several pattern crossed and was not standardized. The new and effective linking mechanism had not yet to be established up, resulting in the organizational function of agricultural science and technology blank. Therefore, it was cried for countermeasures which could promote the development of the Guangdong, even whole the country, modern agricultural science and technology service system. In this context, this paper put forward several proposals for reference.
