The variety regulation of the agronomic character, yield character, dry matter accumulation and distribution in four kinds of different density of Cuminum cyminum L. were studied in this experiment. The results show that plant height, No.of compound umbel, branch, effective branch, second growth, third growth, seed number per plant, thousand-grain weight and single plant yield were decreased with the density increasing generally. The relation between No.of first order branch and plant density wasn’t prominent; the yield of 2.2 million plant per hm2 was the highest, and the plant’s individual vigor of 2.2 million plant per hm2 was also obvious; the first order branch did the strongest contributions to yield of single plant; dry matter was mainly translated into fructus in the process of becoming mature, about 60% of total, to next was cauloma and ramus, to last was radix.
