The endogenous ZRs, IAA, GA1+3 and ABA level of BSFE transgenic tobacco and wild type were assayed by ELISA respectively. The results showed that in 6, 12, 18, 24 weeks old tobacco plants, the metabolism patterns of different plant hormones are the same in both transgenic and wild type, while the level of IAA, GA1+3 and ZRs in transgenic tobacco were lower than, and the level of ABA was higher than that in wild type. We infer that these differences in plant hormones level related with the growth inhibition of transgenic tobacco.
