This paper aims at studies made on the effect of 150μg /g and 300μg /g GA3 treatment on post-harvested ethylene biosynthesis of “yichuanlin” persimmon fruit. The result shows that the two treatment can inhibit markedly the accumulation of ACC and EFE activity. It might also lead to a reduced production of endogenous ethylene and to a delay of ethylene peak to appear 20 days later than the controlled. The reason for the reduced production of Endogenous ethylene lies in the decrease of EFE activity. The greater the concentration of GA3, the more effect it has on EFE and endogenous ethylene. The two GA3 concentration treatments can remarkably delay the occurrence of firmness reduction of “yichuanlin” persimmon fruit. The prohibiting role of 300μg /gGA3 treatment to firmness reduction shows better in prophase of post-harvested.
