Pot experiment with sandy damp soil under two P levels (high-P and low-P)was conducted to test the variance of sensitivity to low-P stress among 33 soybean varieties. it was indicated that the tested soybean varieties showed significant variation in the index of either relative dry weight (RW), relative P accumulation(RA) or relative P utilization efficiency, but not in the one of relative plant height(PH). Both the simple correlation(r=0.7832**) and the partial correlation(r=0.8641**)of relative P accumulation to relative dry weight and the simple correlation(r=-0.2769) of relative P utilization efficiency to relative dry weight each reached significant level, but for the partial correlation(r=0.6458**) of relative P utilization efficiency to relative dry weight. Dendrogram of soybean varieties by RW and RA showed that 33 varieties could be classified to three classes with the one of both high in RW and RA, the one of both low in RW and in RA and the one of either RW or RA not high involved in 4,15 and 14 varieties respectively.
