播期对紫花苜蓿草产量、生长发育及越冬率的影响

Effect of Sowing Date on Forage Yield, Growth and Overwintering Rate of Alfalfa

摘要： 为研究不同播种时间对紫花苜蓿(Medicago sativa L.)草产量、生长发育及越冬率的影响，以紫花苜蓿品种‘公农1号’为试验材料，于2013—2014年在在吉林省中东部地区进行田间试验。结果表明，随着播期的延后，出苗所用的时间及各生长性状呈下降趋势，越冬率及翌年草产量以5月9日、5月24日处理最高，8月9日处理最低。其中，5月24日播种的紫花苜蓿的越冬率达98.95%。结果显示，早播促进植株单株的生长，但由于越冬率较低，影响翌年的总产量。综合2年试验结果可以认为吉林省中东部地区紫花苜蓿最佳播期在5月份，最晚也应在7月9日前。

Abstract: In order to explore effect of different sowing dates on forage yield, growth and over-wintering rate of alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.), experiments were performed in mid-eastern Jilin Province from 2013 to 2014 with Medicago sativa L. ‘Gongnong No.1’. The results showed that seedling emergence days and growth characteristics reduced gradually with the delay of sowing date. Overwintering rate and forage yield were the highest when sowing was conducted on May 9th and May 24th in the second year but were the lowest when sowing was conducted on August 9th. Overwintering rate was 98.95% when sowing was conducted on May 24th. The results implied that early-sowing could increase plant growth, but total yield reduced due to the lower overwintering rate. From the test results of two years, it can be concluded that the optimal sowing date of alfalfa in mid-eastern Jilin Province should be in May. It was better to sow before July 9th.
