不同处理方法对9种葱属种子萌发的影响

Influence of Different Processing Methods on 9 Species of Allium Seed Germination

摘要: 葱属作物具有较高的营养价值和经济价值,为了更好地保护和开发这一经济作物,笔者通过西安植物园的国际种子交流通道,从世界其他植物园收集葱属种子8种,以该休眠种子为材料,研究浓H2SO4、PEG和低温层积处理对种子萌发的影响,以期筛选出较佳的萌发处理方法。结果表明:各处理对葱属植物种子萌发率的影响不同,浓H2SO4处理5 min和15% PEG浸种6 h,可明显促进参试种子萌发,其中,浓H2SO4处理下有4种参试种子萌发率大于80%,PEG处理下仅有1种参试种子的萌发率达到80%。低温层积处理下,只有6种参试种子萌发,萌发率介于7%~64%。而在对照处理下,仅有4种参试种子萌发,且萌发率介于12%~57%。比较3种处理,本研究认为浓H2SO4处理的效果最好,可以有效提高葱属植物种子的萌发率。需要指出的是,本研究中部分葱属植物种子对浓H2SO4和PEG等处理的响应较弱,这可能是与种子的休眠原因和休眠类型有关,本研究团队将继续深入研究提高葱属种子发芽率的高效措施。

Abstract: Abstracts: Allium plants have high nutritive and economic value. In order to protect and develop allium plants and screen out the optimum germination treatment, through the international seed communication channel of Xi’an botanical garden, 8 allium plants were collected from other botanical gardens in the world, and the influence of different processing methods (concentrated H2SO4, PEG and cold stratification treatment) on 9 species of allium seed germination was studied. The results showed that different treatments had different influences on seed germination. Both concentrated H2SO4 treatment for 5 min and 15% PEG treatment for 6 h could promote seed germination, the germination rate of 4 species was above 80% under concentrated H2SO4 treatment, but there was only one species under PEG treatment. Only 6 species could germinate under cold stratification treatment, and the germination rate was 7%-64%. Only 4 species could germinate under CK treatment, and the germination rate was 12%-57%. Concentrated H2SO4 treatment was the best among these three treatments, it could promote allium seed germination rate efficiently. Allium seed in this study had weak responses to concentrated H2SO4 and PEG, which might be related to dormancy mechanism and it needed further study.
