Abstract: To develop a featured and cost-effective wine industry in areas with natural advantages, combined with literature study and field survey, we use the inductive deduction method to systematically expound the advantages of the wine industry development in Rushan, and use empirical analysis method to explore the problems in the development. The results show that the development of the wine industry in Rushan should integrate the superior resources and implement the supply-side structural reform to meet the requirements of producing high-quality grapes and wine, respecting people and the environment, and ensuring the long-term economic benefits of grapes and wine. The development of wine industry in Rushan also needs the guiding role of the government, the scientific planning and transforming for developing featured and cost-effective wineries, expanding the integration of wine and cultural diversity, and realizing the multi- core drive of industrial development. The research results could provide a basis for exploring the promotion of suitable wine industry models in areas with natural advantages.
