Abstract:

At present, China is in the stage of rapid urbanization, and mutual promotion is found between agriculture and industry, the urban and the rural. However, the income and consumption gap between urban and rural areas still has great disparity, so does the overall labor productivity. The basic infrastructures of rural areas are weak, as well as the rural social security level. With the development of urbanization, some villages are integrated into towns and cities, rural labors go out in large numbers, causing hollow villages with aging problems. At the same time, with the implementation of some major projects, some new problems have emerged, such as relocation, integration and etc. Under the background of rural revitalization, based on studying the situation and characteristics of the rural construction in Europe, we put forward some suggestions on China’s current rural construction problems, including balancing urban and rural development space, making distinctive rural construction planning, cultivating new-type agricultural business entities, and maintaining rural vitality through integrated development.
