Abstract: After entering WTO in 2001, it has been necessary to establish and improve an agricultural standardization system in China, which is accordant with the national conditions and the international conventions and criterions. On the base of defining agricultural standardization, the paper has proved the necessity for enforcing the agricultural standardization, analyzed the current situation of agricultural standardization, and proposed six tentative countermeasures to establish and improve agricultural standardized system in China.
