Abstract:

From the reality of regional development in Hunan Province, this paper constructed the comprehensive evaluation index system based on land-use intensity, land-use input, land-use benefit and land environmental quality, and also with the method of principal component analysis. It had a integrative evaluation and analysis towards the urban land intensive use level of Hunan Province in 2007. Then, the study showed us the following results：(1) Changsha, Zhuzhou and Xiangtan Urban Agglomeration has a relatively high level of urban land use intensive; (2) Intensive level of urban land-use in Hunan Province is significantly different, decreasing from the east to the west; (3) Intensive level of urban land-use is mainly affected by the economic development level, and the two has consistency.
