Abstract: The characteristics of seed-stem germination of different cassava varieties (ZM8316, SC201, FuXuan01, SC124, XinXuan048 and XinXuan056)were sdudied in this experiment. The result showed that not only the seed-stem germination of XinXuan048 and ZM8316 was earliest but also the germination rate highest,the rooting power strongest ,the growth of seedlings rapidest and the chlorophyll content of seedlings leaf highest .The second was FuXuan01 , XinXuan056 and SC124.and the third was SC201.
