Abstract: The egg shells of Lepidoptera moths, Phragmatobia fuliginosa Linnaeus, Pelurga comitata Linnaeus, Callambulyx tatarinovi Bremer et Grey, Stilpnotia salicis Linnaeus, Herculia glaucinalis Linnaeus, Loxostege verticalis Linnaeus, Plusia crassisigna Warren, Agroperina lateritia Hufnage were studied by microscope in the paper. The results of morphological characters show that the number of micropyles, the shape, the number and the arrangment of coronas of micropylar region, the size and the arrangment of spiracles etc have remarkable difference. The results revealed that the morphological characters of the egg shells could be used as an criterion for the identification.
