Abstract:

Large amount of coal waste destructs the environment and the landscape pattern; it also has brought about a series of environment problems. Target and principle of coal waste lands landscape planning was discussed in this paper， ecological restoration and landscape planning was completed through applying theory of Vegetation Restoration and the Landscape Architecture. Landscape planning and design was on the basis of the coast dimension and coal wasting lands dimension. Thereby， initiate the thinking of planning and design of coal wasting lands. It has an important significance of improving ecological environment of coal wasting lands， restore the soil productivity and promoting agricultural production， improve city position and image; some references are also presented to landscape planning of coal wasting lands in other cities.
