Abstract:

Under different site conditions between Quanshan forest farm in Minqin and Malutan forest farm in Gulang, we carried out the experiment about seedling cultivation and forestation in container of Ammopiptamhus mongolicus, surveyed survival rate, mass growth, soil moisture, soil organic matter and other indicators, discussed the methods and technologies between abandoned land and sand dune of Ammopiptamhus mongolicus, and summed up the forestation problems about Ammopiptamhus mongolicus in different site conditions. The results showed, there were high survival rate of seedlings, stocking percent, mass growth and biomass on abandoned land in Minqin, while the stocking percent here were only 12% and there were lower mass growth, except relatively higher survival rate of seedlings in Malutan forest farm. Because it was good for Ammopiptamhus mongolicus to growth on abandoned land, while afforestation on sand dune was easy to be influenced by wind erosion and increased the management difficulties, so the afforestation on sand dunes need to be further exploration and research.
