Abstract:

Researches of the level of the information needs of farmers in different areas are important in improving the information services in rural areas. The information needs of farmers have been analyzed based on questionnaire in different areas in Shaanxi Province. It indicates that the information needed, the methods in acquiring the information, the channels in acquiring the information, the factors affecting the acquiring the information and the satisfaction to the information services shows obvious regional differences. The results of this study will provide reference for all levels of government and related businesses.
