Abstract:

Rice black-streaked dwarf virus (RBSDV) is a member within the second group of the genus Fijivirus, family Reoviridae, the Rice black-streaked dwarf disease caused by RBSDV caused huge economic losses in Chinese rice area. The review described the hazard of rice black streaked dwarf disease and viral characteristics, virus research status of the various protein-coding and application of gene engineering to control the disease, provided a reference for the future on the rice black streaked dwarf disease research.
