The Effect of N、P and K on High(low)-gluten Wheat Qualities

Abstract: A joint experiment was carried out in four sites of Henan Province with unified design, and the effect of soil fertility and N、P and K on several main quality factors of high(low)-gluten wheat was studied. The change of N content in different parts of wheat plant was determined systematically in various development stages in order to find out the diversity of different types of wheat in N nutrition mechanism during the formation of grain quality and the physiological mechanism that the effect of N、P and K on wheat quality .The result showed that the maintenance of high N content in flag leaves during wheat heading period is the major condition for high-gluten wheat to achieve good quality.
