The vase life, changes of diameter, fresh weight, water balance and ethylene production of tree-peony cut flower (“Luo Yang Hong”) were investigated, in order to display the effects of vasing solution (3% sucrose +0.2g/LHQS+2mmol STS) on the quality of vase life of the cut flower. The vasing solution prolonges the vase life of tree-peony cut flower (“Luo Yang Hong”), improves the changes of flower diameter and water balance. Decrease the changes of weight and ethylene production. The result shows that the vasing solution is effective on improving tree-peony cut flower (“Luo Yang Hong”) quality.
