The revision of comprehensive land use planning have already started in our country, which still takes the strict protection of Cultivated Land especially basic farmland as the key point. Since many mistakes existed in the protection of basic farmland in latest land use planning, such as bad basic data, disordered adjustment and so on, this paper suggests some thoughts and policy suggestion, for enhancing scientific and usability to the land use planning.
