Abstract: The exmination was to find the regulation of symptom and distribution of SMV in different districts of HLJ province, according to the Symptom of SMV Samples collected from different districts of HLJ province in 2002 end 2003.The soft of MVSP3.1.2 was applied to similarity and cluster analysis. Similarity and cluster analysis showed that the symptom of shrivel was in dominant position，the symptom of yellow took the second place, the symptom of distort took the last. Half of 223 Samples in 2003 and 80% of 126 samples in 2002 showed shrivel. So the conclusion is that SMV1 is dominant place in HLJ province. In order to study occur of SMV in different districts further, four parts of south、north、east、west was divided in HLJ province for similarity and cluster analysis. The analysis showed that shrivel SMV is also in dominant place in four section，the regulation of infected is the same with that of the whole HLJ province.
