Abstract:

The determination of betulic acid, oleanic acid and ursolic acid in Chinese Jujube by HPLC was studied. Hypersil BDS C18(4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 um)column was used. The mobile phase was as follows: V(methanol):V(H2O)=90:10, pH=3.0 and the flow rate was 0.6 mL/min. The sample injection volume was 5 uL. The column temperature was 18℃. The detection wavelength was 210 nm. In this research, the contents of betulic acid, oleanic acid and ursolic acid in different Chinese jujube cultivars were tested and analyzed by the method of HPLC. The results showed distinct differences in the contents of betulic acid, oleanic acid and ursolic acid among different cultivars. ‘Jinzao’ had the highest content of betulic acid. ‘Changhongzao’ had the highest content of oleanic acid and ursolic acid. ‘Changhongzao’, ‘Nanjingzao’ and ‘Huizao’had higher contents of above mentioned three aids.
