Abstract:

In different yield levels, the constitutions of ear, grain and grain weight of ‘Yongyou 6’, a single cropping late rice, were analyzed. Methods of correlation analysis, regression analysis and path analysis were used to analyze the relationship among traits and their contribution to yield. The results showed that the direct contributions of main economic characters to yield were determined to be per ear filled grains > effective ear > seed setting rate > 1000-grain weight. The promotion of high-yielding and effective cultivation techniques was suggested as follows: on the basis of certain effective ear amount, filled grains per ear should be mainly focused with a consideration to grain weight.
