Abstract:

In order to illustrate the internal quality’s characteristics of tobacco in Wuping, improve and stable the Tobacco’s quality and style’s characteristics, improve the tobacco’s industrial usability. In this paper, the physicochemical properties and panel test quality of the ‘Yunyan87’ tobacco leaves in Wuping of Fujian province has been studied. The results showed that there were significant differences in the opening leaf degree and thickness of Wu Ping’s tobacco leaf, and eight areas of Wuping on the opening leaf degree were approaching 40% or more than it which was national standard. The nitrogen, potassium and chlorine content and ratio of potassium chloride and of nitrogen to nicotine existed significant difference in middle leaves of Wuping. The height potassium, low chloride and appropriate nicotine level in tobacco leaves of Wuping was the most significant features. The fragrant quality, odor and aftertaste of tobacco leaves with different soil texture and pH displayed significant difference.
